AmpliFund Public Sector Simplifies Government Grant Management
March 12, 2014 (Cleveland, Ohio)—StreamLink Software, a software as a service (SaaS) technology provider, announces the opening of its new Washington, D.C. office, focused on supporting the company’s public sector grant management product.
The office will be located in the Washington Square building at 1050 Connecticut Ave. NW, conveniently situated in the heart of the business district.
By opening its Washington D.C. office in the midst of Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act) deliberations, StreamLink Software further positions itself as a key player in the grant reform movement.
The DATA Act, which supports greater insight into federal spending, is currently awaiting consideration in the Senate. If passed in its current form, it would usher in sweeping changes to federal grant reporting focused on data standardization, waste and fraud reduction, and performance-based compliance requirements.
“There is increasing demand for federal government spending transparency and accountability—a problem that our grant management technology helps solve,” said StreamLink Software CEO Adam Roth. “With a Washington D.C. office, StreamLink Software can be more active in reform conversations, achieve a greater understanding of federal processes and practices, bring added value to cities and states that receive funding, and be more accessible to current and future public sector customers.”
StreamLink Software’s grant management solution, AmpliFund Public Sector, enables government entities to track funds entering and leaving their agencies, states or cities, and effectively evaluate return on investment. It was selected by the U.S. Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board for a national “proof of concept” pilot project that would affect all federal grants, loans, contracts and cooperative agreements.
