Names John Dearborn as President and Steve Kosko as Chief Revenue Officer
July 27, 2014 (Cleveland, Ohio)— StreamLink Software, a software as a service (SaaS) technology provider, recently appointed John Dearborn as president and Steve Kosko as chief revenue officer to help accelerate company growth.
Dearborn to Manage Operations as President
Effective July 7, Dearborn will oversee company operations, manage talent acquisition and development, and support upcoming fundraising initiatives.
“John’s deep experience will help us execute our strategic vision, and expand on the solid successes and reputation we’ve built to date,” said StreamLink Software CEO Adam Roth. “As we look to grow, develop talent and raise additional funds, his expertise and background will help take the company to the next level.”
Dearborn joins StreamLink Software with extensive startup, nonprofit and fundraising experience, having previously served as president at JumpStart Inc., CEO at 3Guppies, Inc., senior vice president and general manager of new ventures at American Greetings Interactive, executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Micrografx, Inc., and co-founder of Astral Development.
He also was one of the company’s first board members and advisors, connecting StreamLink Software to some of its original talent and funders.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the company,” said Dearborn. “StreamLink Software has a great culture and enormous opportunities for growth. I look forward to partnering with Adam and the talented team he’s built in continuing the positive momentum that’s underway.”
With Dearborn onboard, Roth will be able to focus on emerging growth opportunities stemming from the recent passage of the Digital Accountability and Transparency (DATA) Act. The open data legislation will require nonprofit and public sector organizations to adopt more transparent, performance-based grant reporting processes—an area in which StreamLink Software’s grant management technology can play a significant role.
Kosko to Lead Revenue-Generating Activities
As the company's new chief revenue officer, effective July 28, Kosko will be responsible for day-to-day sales and marketing activities, ensuring proper integration to continue the company’s momentum and accelerate growth. He has 20 years of experience in ecommerce, interactive marketing, and overall digital transformation across a variety of industries.
Kosko previously served as a partner in both Rosetta’s distribution, manufacturing and utilities vertical and B2B industry vertical, as well as in management roles at Axentis and Andersen Consulting. During his time as the operational leader and P/L owner at Rosetta (2009–2011), the business unit had an impressive annual growth rate and exceeded gross margin goals each year.
“As StreamLink Software enters a high-growth phase, Steve brings the expertise needed to maximize revenue at all stages of the customer lifecycle,” said Roth. “He will be a valued asset to our marketing and sales teams, and we are thrilled to have him onboard as we expand our business.”
StreamLink Software’s revenue has grown 100 percent the last three years, and 2014 Q1-Q2 revenue has already surpassed 2013 total revenue. It was recently named a “Top Cleveland Workplace” by The Plain Dealer and one of the “20 Most Promising Tech Solution Providers in the Public Sector” by CIOReview.
“As the open data movement unfolds, the timing is right to accelerate growth,” said Roth. “The goal is to grow capital and talent, while maintaining our culture, to make this a great Cleveland success story.”
